Default 103HO Cams in a 96?

I keep seeing these come up for sale but I haven't been able to find much on them in a 96.
Just trying to figure out whether or not it would be worth the time and effort to install these for around the $50-75 I keep seeing them at.

I was already pretty much deadset on Andrews 48H cams if I was buying new but if these get me anywhere near the same power it would be a good option.
If anyone has had any experience with how these perform in a relatively stock 96 I'd greatly appreciate whatever info you have.

If you are going to go through the time, effort, and cost to replace your stock cams, why would you want to do the whole procedure twice?

If the 103HO cams made reasonable power I wouldn't change them for the Andrews cams.
If they wouldn't be much of a bump I'd go straight to the Andrews.

The stock 103HO cams are similar to the SE255's w/o the additional lift, they will give an additional bump but not like the Andrews 48. The Andrews 21H and 26H work well in a mostly stock 96".

The stock HO cams are an improvement over the previous stock cams and they are cheap to buy.

IMO, unless you had the HO cams laying around (free) your money would be better spent on aftermarket cams. The $50-$75 that would be spent on HO cams is a decent down payment on new (read: better) cams, and when you factor in the time and/or cost for installing them, you might as well get the most bang for the buck while you're at it.

That makes sense. I've been coming across quite a bit of people who have already swapped out their stock HO cams for others.
Thanks for the honest response
