Default 25mm front axle nut correct?

Several months ago I bought a complete used front end that I'm just now diggin into.

It was missing the bearing dust shields (no biggie) but I also noticed the lock washer for axle and the LH slider cap screws were incorrect so I'm suspecting the axle nut is also incorrect.

Could somebody comfirm and/or snap a quick pic of your axle so I can see what I'm dealing with here? I don't mind buying a new one, but the nearest dealer is 45 minutes away so stopping in to see what it looks like is a hassle.

Is there anything specifically about the nut to lead you to believe that it may not be the correct one?

And what does this mean?..."It was missing the bearing dust shields"

.

Nut is same as my 2013 Fatbob, the washer is different, just a simple flat washer on my axle.

Three things made me suspect:
1. The finish on the nut is identical to the lock washer.
2. The nut is distorted-thread locking and the threads on the axle don't look burnished.
3. Most of the other fasteners were wrong.

The missing dust shields were/are for the stem bearings, which were also "missing". I had planned on changing those anyway, so I already have the new ones.

No big deal in any case. Just crossing my I's and dotting my T's.
