Question about tranny fluid

Changed all my fluids today...
Book says to put in 32 oz of fluid into tranny - and then check level and add more if necessary.
It is hard to read clean oil on the dipstick, but it seemed to be just a tadd overfilled.
When I completed primary & tranny - and put used oil back in the quart containers - it came up about 4 or 5 oz short.
So I suspect the tranny needs a little less than 32 oz.
What is the impact if I have overfilled it a little bit above the full line on the dipstick?
Thanks.

Make sure the bike is level when you drain the trans. I usually have the bike on its stand, remove the trans plug, and drain. I then get on the bike, stand it up and a couple more ounces drains out. Put it back on the sidestand, install the plug, empty 32. oz. of fluid into the trans reservoir and put the cap back on. It calls for 32 oz., that's what I put in.
