Schuberth C3 Pro Modular for myself and the Lady-comfortable with great features like the flip-down tinted visor. Schuberth SR-1 for when I feel the need for speed-snug but comfy race fit, 80% blue iridium visor. Thinking about an E1 Crossfire or Guardian for the dirt.
Downside is $$$. But Revzilla.com has them on closeout sale right. Get 'em while they're hot!!

Schuberth C3 and Nolan N43. Since crashing wearing a Shoei Multitec, I can't go back to the half helmets. If I'd been wearing a halfie when I crashed, my jaw would have been really f***ed up. I've grown to really like the Schuberth. Quiet, flows decent air and has a luxury feel to it. I don't like that when riding with the screen up, the screen is a little flimsy and it makes squeeking sounds that at times drives me crazy. I saw Schuberth is coming out with the C4. Interested to see how that one is when I'm ready for a new helmet.

Outlaw ultra low half (carbon). I would wear nothing if I was allowed in my state. When I take bike down to Myrtle Beach every summer, I wear sunglasses.
With that said, I am a crash survivor when I used to ride sportbikes so I don't need a lesson. Once you ride with no helmet, its hard to ride with a brick on your head.

Had a Shoei R1200,Now I use a Schuberth C3Pro, mainly for the quiet but also it is much more comfortable than the Shoei and way more stable when moving my head around at speed.
I have custom earplugs and always wear them. I already have bad tinnitus from shooting and woodworking machinery and don't need it to get worse. I can hear just fine with them on inside a full face helmet. p.s. I liked the Shoei but it is extremely noisy.

This is what I've got and I'm pretty happy with it. It's an Icon Airmada Spaztyk. Pretty decent air flow and it's "race fit" so it's a bit snug on my cheeks but I can get shades on comfortably and I feel like there's a decent amount of room to put speakers. I could get my hand up in there to brush hair off my ears when I had longer hair for a minute. I'm short like you and wanted a full face helmet but also didn't want to look like a bobble head doll with all these huge helmets and this one seems to fit the bill for me.

I was thinking the same thing. I live in Michigan as well and I other than sport bikes I rarely see full face helmets. I have been wearing my Shoei full face so far this year and felt like the odd man out.

'rock'?
uh . . ok . . . . I'm wearing a Bell 500 w/ 5 snap flat shields smoke /clear. I also have Biltwell 3/4s novelty and DOT / Akoury 1/2 etc. I have been wearing the Bells more than anything else because they take 5 snap shields rather than 3 snap. Not into fullface. Somehow helmets hatch around here . . seems they are all over the place. Licks 3/4, Fulmer 3/4, Bells from the 70s, beanies etc. . weird
