Anyone know where i can find a horizontal side mount license plate? The vertical ones lookk great, but unfortunatly are illegal in delaware. Any ideas...thanks!

I made my vertical side mount at work out of aluminum sheet stock then I got a can of Krylon wrinkle black and sprayed it to match the rest of my bike. looks good in my opinion. I'm going to take a few pictures and create a new post probably today.

I believe they're illegal in every state. I have yet to be ticketed for mine though.

 

do cops bust ***** about this or is it just another fine they can throw on if they pull you over and feel like being ******

 

They are illagal in DE? Rut Roh, haha. I think they are illegal in all states. I ride with a bunch of cops and 3 out of 6 of us have vertical plates. I don't think they enforce it.

 

As an alternative, you might consider the licence plate mount I saw the other day---the rider had his plate mountedon the back of his helmet.
