If you can't tell already, I'm pitching this Red Thunder Exhaust haha.

Disclaimer: I've never heard it in person and can't comment on quality/fitment/etc but I am very intrigued. Here is a dyno pull.

I have had a rush 2-1 and now a thunderheader on my dyna. If you don't want loud or droning stay away from the thunderheader. I have a supertrapp on my softail and that would be my choice for you as it is relatively quiet until you get on the throttle and it doesn't drone

I just thought of something. I wear a GoPro on my chest while riding. I could make a clip of how the exhaust sounds at freeway speeds with the camera facing forwards and getting all the wind (like the Rider if not in a full face with ear plugs like I am), pull over, and swap the camera to my BACK and see how it would sound to a passenger who is having most of the wind blocked!

Thoughts?
I would be interested in seeing it, though finding that 'drone' I'm weary of isn't something I'm sure a camera would pick up. It's not so much something you hear as something you feel in your brain no matter what ear protection you use.

Stone, I've got to admit that Red Thunder looks pretty well built. I'll need to look more into them...

Brasher, thanks for the RR3 Video, the SS does look pretty.

Jason, looked a bit into those. Been leaning towards an E-series which is similar but seems to be a 'little more' in several ways.

See if that works.

I've got a Rinehart 2-1 on my Dyna. It is loud at idle. But it's got a deep throaty tone. At speed when riding, in my opinion it is not loud. The only issue I have with it is that the muffler to endcap has leaked exhaust and blackened the joint between the two. Previously the bike had Rush slip-ons and at speed I feel that it isn't any louder than that for comparison purposes. I had a Samson 2-1 on my Sportster and that thing was LOUD. It was a real long pipe and I preferred to wear earplugs when on the highway.

I heard the D&D Bobcat in person last year at Americade and was very impressed. I also like the combinations you can build with different color mufflers and pipes. Not my bike but from YouTube.

Thanks for the videos WH1, that helps. Appreciate it.

And I'll look into the bobcat and Rinehart. Still need to hear a Two brothers in person, half the suggestions have been for one, got to be a good reason.
