Hey, Ive got a small oil leak on my dynaglide. If the bike sits overnight it leaves a oil stain about the size of a quarter.I thought it was the primary gasket but the dealer said it was most likely the inner primary gasket. Is that easy to do yourself or do I have to give the dealer $350? I guess this is common with the 03 dynas. Thanks ,Cord

 

I just did the forwards controls on my 07 Superglide Custom..... it requires the removal of inner and outer primary....... that being said its not a piece of cake..... you really need a "SERVICE MANUAL" and some speciality tools.

Take your time follow the manual and its not too overwhelming. That being said if your not real comfortable doing the work yourself it might be best to have someone else do it.


1- In my opinion service manual is a MUST
2-Good Torque wrench is a MUST
3- 06-07's requires primary locking tool (just a piece of metal that locks the gears)

Just my opinion so take it for what you will
