Default True track or predator

ok guys so I wanna hear your opinions.
I want the best handling possible from my 14 lowrider.
Should I replace the stock motor mount with a new stock one and put a true track on as well ?
Or should I forget the true trac and put a predator mount on?

True track is a stabilizer, Predator is a motor mount/stabilizer combo. It's really difficult to get any real data because everyone has different models/years and stability problems. Some people's stock bikes perform just fine. Some people say the Predator made no difference, some say just stock motor mounts plus the True Track solved their problem.

The issue is, the Dyna wobble comes from a variety of things: tire pressure, swing arm issues, wheel bearings, alignment, balance, tire wear, steering stem bearings, fallaway, rear shocks, front shocks.....lots to look at.

But also, I have a brand new front True Track that's never been mounted for sale in the classifieds if you're interested haha.

Awesome info thank you, I've read wayy to much on this topic and I think I'll just replace the stock mount with a new stock on and install the true track. I'll hit you up if you have the true track still when I'm ready.
Just planning for the future

Yeah man it's funny...some people get Sputhes, GPR's, Predator Mount, Fork Brace etc etc and still have a wobble. Some people add 2psi air to the tires and it's all good. It's super annoying to track down.

Well damn. To spend almost 400 on a true track or not is the question. Guess only thing it can hurt is my wallet

But also, some (many?, most?) people have no wobble whatsoever on their Dynas. Myself included.

Having said that, when my stock mount shows signs of wear it will be replaced with a Predator.

I wouldn't upgrade the mounts on a 2014 motorcycle, wait until the stock one wears out. If you are looking at improving handling, I changed out for progressive 412's and progressive springs in the front for less than 400 and was a big improvement over stock in my opinion. if you don't have a wobble problem, (iv'e had one, pavement change on an exit ramp at about 80) I wouldn't mess with mounts or stabilizers.

Awesome !!! I was looking at the 412's and wondered about their quality since they're the low end of progressives.

They worked for me. Heavy duty rear + heavy duty fronts. I weigh about 175, but have bags and a fairing I run in the winter. Preload on 2nd notch from lowest setting.

I have had five Dyna's and toured them. Never had an issue except on a 10 Superglide. Over 80 on a fast bumpy sweeper the front would wobble. I solved the problem at no cost. Just keep it under 80.
