Default 14" apes on 14 streetbob

12" apes on the stock 2" risers on a 14 streetbob. Do I need the burley kit? These are the bars I ordered

No. I did 16s on my 15 Fxdb and only needed to do the clutch cable/throttle cables. The stock one fit, but it was just tight enough that I wasn't comfortable with it so I went with a +4 clutch cable, and had too much slack. I've seen guys with 16s use factory throttle cables, but didn't like it. Didn't touch my brake line or wiring. 12s and 14s will fit without modification. If you search, you'll find threads of others asking the same question. Some will tell you to get the +2 kit, but others have installed 14s without it.

Just to clarify, you're doing 14s? Or just 12s and factoring in the 2 inch risers? If 12s, you'll have more than enough wiring/cables with what comes on the bike
