Default In desperate need of wiring help

I'm hoping someone can help me with the nightmare I've been dealing with.
2008 superglide that I'm changing bars on and trying to fix wiring. The wiring had a bunch of splices and wanted to fix it.
I've got three wires that I can not figure out where the hell they connect too.
These wires are on the throttle side of the bike. The other wires were easy black and red wire to black and red. White wire to white wire. Now I've got a white with a purple stripe, white with a brown stripe and a solid black. There are no wires left to connect these too.
The manual says the purple in particular is for the left side signal. Except the wire 100% did not run across over to the left side. So it has to connect somewhere on the right side. Same goes for the white with a brown stripe.
First pic shows the three mystery wires. The other pic shows the wires to the switches. The wires are all connected and now left with the three.

That's not pretty... Try this chart, if that fails... Have a few beers and try the next one.

The pic showing the white/violet and white/brown wires is too close, hard to see where those wires are, looks like they are coming out of a harness...

But here is the standard turn signal switch wire colors for any HD `96 or later:

White with Violet stripe wire runs between left turn signal switch and TSSM.

White with Brown stripe wire runs between right turn signal and TSSM.

Black is ground.

They are coming directly out of the harness yes.

An Ohm/volt (multi) meter will tell you exactly what you need to know.

Ditch the cut-up harness and put a new one in. much easier and you wont have to deal with those cut connections in the future. Biker's Choice had some inexpensive ones with black or chrome switches.

OK, let`s back up a bit...

Did all the handlebar control switches work before you started this job?

Which switch is in the middle pic?

Which switch is in the bottom pic?

Did the wires coming out of the switches go to a connector (a connector for each side), or were they hard wired into the harness?

Trying to get an idea what kind of hack job is being dealt with here.
