I bought a blacked out Sunpie off Amazon, $50 shipped. It works flawlessly in my 2003 FXD.

Mine's an 02 FXDX which requires the huge CANBUS module.

Hmmm.
What you talking about? I didn't have to add anything to my 2003.

My only regret is that I didn't get a black one.

The LED headlight I bought has a huge box that says LED CANBUS on it. It's an intermediate connection between the LED headlight and where it plugs into the HD headlight plug. Without it plugged in, the light didn't work.

I'll take a pic this evening.

Sounds like you bought the wrong one?

This is what I bought. With the FXD bucket you have to curl the wire about a bit so it's snug but it fits fine.

I bought that one too. For $49 there wasn't a lot to lose in trying it. Seems well made and works well for me. It is a trick getting it installed though.
