Jackyl, I read through your thread, thank you for posting it. It seems that both the SE and the daytripper have gotten good comfort reviews. The price for either seems to be around $250

I have a Daytripper... comfortable for the rider, uncomfortable for the passenger. It looks good though.

If someone wants it, it's for sale or trade... fits2004/2005 all models Dyna. I need a seat with a better passenger perch.

 

What about a Corbin ?

 

I have the SE and just did a trip to NM from Austin, up and back were one day rides with no numb butt.

 

That's the thing, I am not as worried about myself as with the Mrs. I would get a pan seat if she didn't like to ride

The above Mustang seat with or without
the passenger seat was the best seat I ever owned.

The Mustang seat I had on my SB was 13.5” wide
and was not enough for my wide load so I returned it.
It also pushed me to far away for the forward controls.
I’m 5-10, 240 lbs 30” inseam.

I’m hoping the Solo Sundowner will work out better.

 

I went with it because it had the profile of Badlander but the passenger section is wider. The wife will be on it for the first time this weekend for the ROT so I will know how it really is by monday.
