That is a tough call. About 6+ months ago I was going to trade my 07 street bob in on a 15 leftover LRS and then took the Fat Bob, LRS and a Wide Glide (which I had owned before) for a spin and ended up with the Fat Bob which wasn't on my list originally (but TO ME had a more comfortable ride). If I hadn't ridden all I would have left with the LRS which are crazy great bikes.

woah woah woah, we will have none of that behavior in this establishment.

i get the return fire though.

and a street bob is no sportster... no dyna is. Sporty is an evil chainsaw that only wants to hurt.

i love my sporty!

Just gets better and better

I bought a new (leftover) Fat Bob.
A close friend bought a 16' street Bob.
They both sit in my garage as he does not have a garage. I have ridden both extensively, I will tell you hands down, the FXDF is the better riding bike.

After owning his street Bob for about 4 months this summer, he came over to put a new intake on his bike in my garage. While he was working on his bike, he dropped his phone on the floor and broke it. He asked if it would be OK to take mine to the mall to buy a new phone.
He returned 2 hours later aggravated, and said he wished he would have bought a fat bob.
The ride was so much more comfortable for him, and the difference in the brakes was quite noticable.
He said he also preferred the forwards, and drag bars to his controls.
I know I'm 6'0, and when I ride his, I feel like a sail with my knees up, and my arms out.

Sportster? Damit, who left the back door open? Everyone knows you can't bring a penknife to a gunfight!

Btw cggorman, another interesting thing (i think anyways) regarding Raked Trees is that HD also uses them, although less raked than the WG, on 06-later Low Rider's 29° frame

Tidbit...

I think wide glide. I like the raked front end and the narrow tire up front look.

That is interesting. I'm too lazy to look up the numbers and do the trail math with & without the raked trees, but I am curious what those numbers are.
