RE: Braided Stainless Fuel Crossover Line
I got one on my 05 - measures between 5.5 and 5.75"
It's very rigid.
I've been on the fence regarding the Jackyl lift - but it looks to me like 2" lift is too much and the xover will hit the bottom of the top frame member. I'm sure Jackyl has done the measures, but my eye says "no-way". Perhaps I can angle it a bit - keep in mind it is very stiff compared to the rubber tube, and may also expose some surfaces on the xover fitting where the paint has chipped off..
if you want - I'll post a pic tomorrow.

The length of the crossover tube shouldn't matter if you are lifting the tank as it only connects one side of the tank to the other side. I have one, but have not installed it (dealer buy-back on FXDB due to damage).
I will definately install it on the CVO Dyna Screaming Eagle that has all Diamonback braided lines and will be a good fit with the overall schema of the bike.

RE: Braided Stainless Fuel Crossover Line
My concern is that it appears to me the crossover line will hit the backbone when I put on the 2" lift. I may be mistaken, but i don't think so.
so I think I'll have to lengthen the crossover line. I would like to put on a stainless braid, but I don't want it to rub against the backbone - hence my questions about length.

RE: Braided Stainless Fuel Crossover Line
I attempted to install last night, I have the braided cross over. I could not get it to work. The braided cable wasnot flexible enough to lift the tank high enough to install the 2in lift. My next plan of attack may require the draining of the fuel tank, un-installing the cable, installing the lift -- but my eyes tell me the braided cable won'tbe long enough.
