I've been looking for weeks into a new FXDLS and the best OTD price in California I've been able to find is $20 OTD. I know I'm seeing a bunch of no California posts anywhere from $16,500-$19k but California's crazy. Anyone get a 2017 for less than $19,500 OTD?

What did you expect living in a "monkey see monkey do" state?
Try Simi Harley (ask for Kevin, sales manager). I ended up paying 20K OTD with a 500 gift certificate. I shopped all over and yes prices are crazy out here.
Do you have to buy it in Cali? I don't know if there is a California version so you can register it in that state. If there is, never mind.
If there isn't, then should be able to save a few grand elsewhere.
Looking back in Nov, I had 3 sold in the time I was dickering with prices in 3 days. Just grabbed mine by deposit before someone else previous came back to buy. In Cali, they're not worried about these bikes. I'm a hard buyer too. But realized the bike was one they're not worried about selling. Buying out of state is a dmv headache here. 20k is what the fair dealer in Cali are doing. If u seriously want it, I'd plan on around that number.
They were all over in Colorado 15,599-16,599 when I bought mine in August.
Yes, they are a LOT cheaper in other states and like a few others said it is a huge hassle to register a bike from another state out here with less than 7.5K miles. Some places were getting 4 to 5K over MSRP when they first came out.

Yes.Pretty sure the $200 California emissions fee on the Mother Ships site is for them. So...17,499 is MSRP+ $200 for emissions and $390 for freight. Thats 18,089 for a worst case scenario. They want 20K? So 1,900 and some change above the worst case and 2,500 above the base of 17,499? (Not including the $200 emissions fee) Plus 7.5% state tax? Or is the 20K the "OTD" price?
Not sure what part of the "Bay Area" you live but the cost of living in San Fran is 53% North of the national average. Just sayin. On a side note, if you were in the military and deployed you could buy it through AAFES.
