There is a guy advertising in the Ft Lauderdale Fl area a 2016 Lower Rider S with 800 miles on it for 16k (asking price) plus he is throwing in a pit bull jack and other stuff.

I looked all over and know people at a couple dealerships (bought multiple bikes). I paid $19,800 OTD. Could have maybe got to $19,000 if I really ground on them. In CA these bikes are selling within 7 days at around $21-22 so they aren't really willing to deal. Look on craigslist and you'll see guys trying to get out of their loans at $24k! I don't believe anyone is selling these bikes at $16,500-$18,000 OTD in any state...

Best bet is to find a dealer that has multiple (San Diego has had 2-3 at a time) and grind the price out.

Since it's still a "hot, new" model, it's going to take some time for the demand (and price) to settle down.
The price will drop drastically on the current bikes, when it starts coming with the "M8" engine. (If there's any left...)

+1 Totally true. Simply supply and demand right now. In a few months some other new bike will be the hot thing and these will drop in price.

Of course they'll always be the first Dyna with a 110 motor...for what it's worth.

It doesn't even get the title of being the first with a 110" lol. First Dyna with a 110" came out in 2007 if I'm not mistaken. Regardless I love my 16' model S.

In North Dakota they are 17,499 OTD for the 2017 and 16,000 for a 2016 leftover.

Sure are. Mine was about 18 OTD 8 months ago in Colorado Springs, CO.

Hmmm... don't get that one... but you get a pass since I spend so much time in Southern Utah.

So what's deal with having to buy something to eat before you get a drink anyway?
