Default 2-up Seat options for the Low Rider S

I am ordering the 2-up option for my FXDLS and wondering what you guys and gals might have already experienced.

I was looking at the Sundowner Passenger Pillion Seat but it appears that I would need Sundowner Solo Seat also. Anybody able to say that is true or would it work with the Stock Rider seat?

Also considering the Sundowner Seat with the Pillion Seat and Rider Seat as one. This looks comfortable but I'm just not liking its look. Anybody have pictures of this seat installed on their Bike?

My favorite is the Low Profile Leather Seat, looks awesome, but, I'm sure it has comfort issues over the long haul. I probably won't be riding 2-up more than a couple hundred miles in any given day.

Any input would be much appreciated from you all that have went the 2-up route on your bike.

Have you checked out Saddlemen's Stepup TTR? I have it and absolutely love it. Of course saddlemen puts their gel inserts in them and good foam. you also get the taller back support and can get the Gripper seat material for the backsupport. I think they have black and bomber brown. I tried to be different with the brown on my S.

Also, Ive heard nothing but good things from guys with the lucky dave's 2-up seat.

heres mine.

I have the Badlander seat, it's ok but for long rides, it tears your *** up like a prison inmate. I also don't like the fact that it rubbed the paint off the battery & fusebox covers and the tops of the rear shocks. But it does look good. If I'm not ridin 2 up or goin grocery shopping I just run the factory street bob solo seat, which in my opinion is by far the most comfortable.

I don't know if that pillion would work with the stock seat or not but you also mentioned liking the low profile leather seat and were concerned about the comfort. I haven't tried the low profile leather seat but I did spend some time on the stock saddle and I don't see how it could be less comfortable than that so I think it'd work for you unless your passenger isn't comfortable. If that's the case you could always get a road zeppelin or airhawk for the pillion for longer trips and leave it off for short rides.

I like my diamond stick Le Para very much. Low profile look and fits my backside better than the stock lowrider seat. Girlfriend doesn't complain about it too much but its not as comfortable as the stock lowrider seat for her, not quite as thick and wide.
