Default Boss or LeatherPro Saddlebags?

I have a 2005 Dyna Lowrider with a detachable backrest and need some good detachable saddlebags. I have done a lot of research and comparing and believe that these two bags have the most features for the price.

I am seeking some feedback from those of you that may have purchased these bags and would like to know your opinion both good and bad. Thanks again in advance!!

I just purchased the Boss bags around 2 weeks ago.

So far - I love them. Built really well and very functional.

I will also say that their customer support is excellent.

i have leather pros. i was under the impression that leather pros actually makes the dyna bags for boss bags. they are 2 brothers both companies in the same town.

I got the leather pros because they didnt have a silver badge that said "boss bags" so its cleaner. also they were cheaper. i was able to buy them at my dealer and used a 15% coupon so i got a great deal on them. I have been happy with them.

i bought them so they would be easily detachable but once I got them on i dont think i could ride without them. they never come off unless i am cleaning the bike.

I have the Boss Bags now for almost 2 years and 25,000 miles. The top of the left one is a little scuffed from a dufflebag that rubbed against it for the 5000 mile trip from NY to Sturgis and back. They have been in quite a few rainstorms as well as sitting out in the pouring rain overnight.

While I am not sure if they will really hold 32 beers each I have brought home a 30 pack. I have also strapped down my leather jacket using the straps when the bags were full.
