Default 14" Wild 1's Chubby Outlawz

Saw another thread for Carlini's and thought it might be a good idea for me to ask the same. Thinking 10" over stock for clutch and 7" over for brake. Anyone done the same bars on a '09 FXD?

The last time I put taller bars on my then RK I ran a dense wire along the original cables then allowed for the taller length adding 2inches. Ideally, putting the new bars on the bike then run the original clutch/brake etc to the proper location then adding what your lacking will give you a real time measurement. Most don't want to wait so they guess and buy often times either being too short or too long. If you take your time you 'measure twice and cut once' and it will look just right.

Kind of what I did, I left original cable and brake line on, put bars on and measured distance to levers. The plus 10 over stock which is what I came up with just sounded like a lot. Hoping someone could confirm. Thanks for the reply.
