I just ordered a two inch lift for my 06 Street Bob. over the internet and used PayPal. I went to Jackyl's email address on this forum and was referred to mmcproducts@yahoo.com. I purchased the lift there for the stated price of $25.00 + $5.00 for shipping and handling. If I paid more than other HD Forum members, the $5.00 is not going to break me but it is confusing.

Before that, 92 XLH with 1200 conversion
Before that, before that, before that

From Jacckyl Ebay: $24.95 + $5 shipping
From Jackyl direct: $25 +$5 shipping

Ebay costs the seller more than a nickel. Besides, to me the result is worth more than the extra five cents and Jackyl already emailed me my nickel. I'm gonna spend it on more chrome!

Oops.

OK I'm out on this. Bottom line is the product and service are worth the price I paid. I elongated the rear tank holes as recommended by Psycho this morning. No more tanky touchy.

So now back to the question, if I go with the 3 inch lift howmuch does effect does it have on fuel. Will I have to stop every 120 miles if I can go 150 now?? Any input on that would be great before I order one. Seems like the only down fall I can think of here.

I rode to 180 miles yesterday. I filled up and had just over 1/2 gallon left. I know I can go 200 without the lift. One of these days I'll take some gas with me and see if the lift affects the ability to use the last bit of fuel in the tank.
