How about fat spokes? Kinda old/new school look. I was on the fence between fat spokes and the SMW wheels for quite a while before I made my choice and went with the wheels I have now

If I had something a lil more retro maybe..I don't know.Always thought they had that "south of the boarder" look. Back to the think tank I guess. All good.

Hi HrdNox,
How abut a rework on your existing wheels. A painted or powdered rim band with chrome lips, pinstrips, and stainless spokes, like the Triumph's and other Brit bikes from the early 50's. Retro and classy.
Somthing like this...

Not for me. Too "Wagon Wheel". HOWEVER, I'd tend to trust your gut based on your previous build aesthetics. I think you've got a good eye.

Howdy All,
Sometimes I think I suffer from "Olde Motorcycle Syndrome", I can't help myself I like this look... its a 1929 Indian with a Crocker OHV conversion, a period superbike from the 1930,s.
I think this is a better example of a painted rim center, the rims on this bike are 1960's Akronts or Borrani's. This treatment on wide rims, with wide low profile tires, in the right colors on a "retro ride" would be smokin' hot. I love wire wheels with polished alloy rims.
