Anyone stuck a softail console on a dyna 4.7 tank? I like the blackline console but, im not sure of the fit. Could it maybe be massaged on with a custom rubber gasket?

 

It's been attempted on a FXDB, but it didn't work.

The WG tank is slightly bigger than the FXDB, but I think it's still smaller than the backline. Looks like the Blackine tank is 5.0 gallons.

 

I tried to use one, not even close to fitting on the FXDB tank. Wound up swapping out the tank.

 

i think that is were i am. so the breakout and blackline tank are basically the same from what i've been reading. how much trouble is involved in duct taping one to a dyna
