I have been reading this thread and it inspired me to relocate my gauges. I had the two gauges mounted in the dash on my lowrider. I also had the power vision tuner mounted on the bars which I didn't like very much.
I wanted a really clean look but figured just slapping a cover plate on the dash would be cheesy and then the dash would serve no purpose.
I also looked at the gauges and mounting options from Harley and thought it looked to wide, so I built my own gauge pods and mount for the T Bars .
cut everything out on the water jet , the mount in the pic is just a template as I am going a lot thicker and will cut that piece out tomorrow.
I will post pics when I get parts back from
powder coat and mounted and wired .
A+! woot! you sticking a timing cover on those 5 holes?

to each his own, but i will pass on mounting Compass as the magnetic interference may be an issue with the PV and other components, i was thinking of mounting a gps unit with a small screen, that may be my direction but most units that are small enough are not waterproof.

Who was the second guy? I reached out to deviant and they didn't respond.
So frustrating. I think maybe its time to learn to make these things an put some money back in my pocket. I just dont get why dudes that make these things refuse to make simple changes.
Gotta find some guy with a 3d printer that wants money
