Maybe move your switch up there and fill the other hole...you probably don't see that often

Maybe I would make something like a enclosed cubby hole for registration and small things..."Stash Tube" (but not a tube)

Do you have the part number for that tach back plate? Good idea it fill in the gaping dash hole!

Comments from the peanut gallery... If I was trying to blank off that dash, I would drop into my local good body or fab shop and have them make blanker plates and have them tig weld them in. A swipe of filler and paint, she will look slick and clean.

Have you thought about swapping tanks? I believe you can use a center fill FXDC tank, on the newer bikes?

Black center fill dash on a vivid black tank would look great,
