You should drop Deviant, or JD fab a line and see what they're willing to do for you.
for 1500, i think i'd need to do something cooler than fill a hole. Nick was straight with me and said you gotta pay hourly and that was a minimum 1500 job. I like the guy. No bs in him, nothing but respect from me. If i were building "the one" he'd get my money. The most i wanted to spend on it was $500. I've got a cobra to think about.

reached out to deviant early on. No response, Fkum. Jdfab? Cant hurt to ask.

in the mean time, i stopped in fastenal yesterday for some countersunk allen head 8-32×2.5, 3, and 3.5 screws... they had none so they ordered them for me, should be in on monday. I stopped by Home Depot today and got some cheap Phillips head 8-32×2.5 and 3 to see which lenght fits best.

When in doubt, buy long and chop it off...as long as they're fully threaded. Thread a nut on first, then cut. Removing the nut straightens out the burrs. Then grind a chamfer and wire brush the remaining burrs. Takes 2 minutes if you've got the grinder handy.

Default tested wires

there a host of issues that need to be delt with

stacked up a cover, gasket, and gauge mount

8-32x2.5 is fine

forgot about the indicator hole... will probably need a street bob dash or a chopped out indicator set from some wrecked bike.

horn cables don't reach the horn will need to be extended, shouldn't be hard

the wires work.

need to tidy up that gray wire shield

what three wire do i extend to fix all this? lol

Yup getting there. I should add that I bought a "dummy" indicator cover and just sprayed it flat black and it blended in just fine. Shaping up nice.
