yah, when i answer when asked i get that 'tilted head to the side' look....and then i always have had to say, "it's a blacked out low rider with apes"....it aggravates the pure hell right out of me

i've seriously even considered changing my air cleaner insert to the "dyna low rider".... plus, for some reason, i feel kinda weird saying 'street bob' ....something about it as it passes my lips..... i want to take it back, for some strange reason

 

I'm just gonna start calling it a "Night Glide" (suggested in a different thread). It sounds cooler than "Street Bob", and fits the look as well. Most people won't know a difference anyway, so it doesn't really matter. For the knowledgable few who realize that there is no such thing as a "Night Glide", I'll default to "Street Bob".

 

What is a Street Bob you ask? It is a gift from God, I reply!!

I like the Night Glide tag. Frankly, Harley should have named it as such - it would have fit more witht he Night Train, Night Rod, Nightster theme.

Maybe lit's just me, but I think it would have looked more like a Bob with a Fat Bay front wheel and tire on it. Don't get me wrong, I like mine just the way it came and appreciate it's handling but for the whole "Bob" thing - a 16" fat front tire owuld have been all but required IMHO.

I always call mine a Dyna Glide I never use the term Street Bob because
it is irrevalant.

Street Bob-----Great name for the bike.

 

A few weeks ago a guy asked me if my bike was a Sportster. I just told him it's a Dyna. I'v been asked about six times "what color are ya gonna paint it"? I just tell um I'm saving up for flames.

 

Maybe its just because I'm stuck here in Yuppyville USA but I keep having people ask if its the new Kawasaki.
