I am still on the fence about raising it. I get so many comments on the bike around town and I really like the way it looks. If I raise it, will that really make a big diference in shock absorbtion? I am afraid that if I spend the $250+ on longer shocksit wont make a big diference in comfort. Any advice on that? Thanks...

HD3 here are some Sportster Shocks - 1n inch longer you can get cheap. They'll fit for trying out. Much cheaper than $250,
I went taller as well. Not sure how much it raises - Meaning one inch raises one inch...
