I agree with the other posts. That's a good run on stock grips. I prefer stock grips. They're cheap, work well with my gloves and as you've proven, take care of them and they'll last a while. Cvaria, do you have a set of Street Bob grips? I bought a set of low rider grips and they were a bit skinnier than the stock Street Bob. I couldn't stand it.

I love my LR-S grips. I am not sure if they are the same as the standard Lowrider grips. I went through the wall-o-grips at the dealer, convinced I could do better, and could not find any that I liked better. If I get 13 years out of these like OP, I may look again...

Just the stocks from the wide glide and the sporty and the ugly ones i just pulled off you are welcome to them. They have zero street value

My left grip is splitting to the point I had to put Gorilla tape on it till I can figure a fix. The grips are heated, stock rubber and HD wants $200 to buy replacements. Is there just the rubber portion that I can replace? I've looked but haven't found it.

Wow. Your bikes 13 years old, like mine. I replaced my grips 2 years ago, never thought twice about it. I bet they were made in USA. Tired of all this made in China talk. Got any proof they were made in China?

I'm wondering if this is a serious post. I mean, who would seriously consider a rubber part lasting 13+ years as being "bad"? I call shenanigans.

I'd say that's a pretty good run.

Comfort wise, I wasn't a fan of my stock grips and replaced them with some 18 dollar jobs that I find way more comfortable.

Ditch those rubber grips for plastic! Last a lot longer. I got the ones with sparkles in them.

13 years on a set of grips? I'd say you got your money's worth
