Sputtering - is there a TPS reset?
Been noticing my bike sputters in every gear around the same RPMs, right around 2350-2500. Almost like a dead spot, makes for a very jerky ride. I had a similar experience with my Buell and the problem disappeared after I performed a throttle position sensor (TPS) reset. Not sure if our bikes have this but has anyone else experienced something like this? I have a Power Vision with autotune, but the bike had the same sputter before and after using the tuner.

Make sure the wiring connector is solidly secured to your TPS. One of the little latches came loose on mine, letting one or two of the pins lose contact. I couldn't see that the plug was loose until I looked at it closely, and it drove me nuts until I figured it out (it finally caused a check engine light-threw a PO122 code for TPS1 low). It caused the same symptoms you're experiencing, only at idle and low rpms.

I had/have the exact same problem. Random sputter, jerk usually between 2 and 3000 rpm. Didnt matter the gear.
Checked all my wires, fuel linies, took apart the intake and cleaned everything. Tried different tunes thinking it was maybe a lean issue, but never really helped. .now I'm getting a TPs error code with rough idle and sometimes high idle. Checked the voltage and theres power to the TPS but nothing coming back. I think it's shot. Have a new one on order, hopefully that does the trick.
