If I was in the market, I would at least try one.

Curious because I also ride a street bob in the bay area and I would think that people around here are more prone to stealing all the street bikes and not heavy cruisers.
From CSU East Bay. I have no clue how they did it, but the forks were locked so I'm thinking they just threw it in a van and drove off. Who knows. Rode 5 different bikes in the time I was there for school and apparently only my Bob got someone's attention. ********

Nice, so 7 miles from my house...

Chaining it to the truck will be a daily thing then.

I have that on there but no audible alarm. I'm not overly worried because I chain the bike frame to the frame of my truck at the house and put the disc lock on when i'm parking it in the sketchier areas (Oakland/SF/SJ).
you can add the siren. but that fob/hfsm bcm stops the hot wiring and clutch popping after the fork lock is broken

I have a Dyna because its my second bike, my daily is a GS Adventure so has panniers and is better for touring.

BUT

If I was forced to choose one bike "to rule them all" it would be the road glide. Probably the new 107

I want to give my opinion, which in my opinion is the most important opinion on the forum, but I need more information. What kind of riding do you do? How many miles a year do you ride? Solo or 2 up?

On a side note. DO NOT pay over MSRP for an S. They aren't limited or hard to find. I paid 16K OTD for mine on July 31st.
