Default EFI Stage 1

Doesn't a EFI Stage 1 remap/recalibration raise the rev limiter to 6200 RPM on a Dyna? (2005)

Thanks.

Ride safe.

Thanks,

I paid to have Stage 1 done and hit the rev limiter at 5500 rpm yesterday.

I was sure that it was supposed to be 6200 now.

I didnt think I had felt any difference after it was to be done but I hadn't really ridden the bike enough to actually know it "by the seat of the pants", was still back firing alot though.

I do belive the remap may have been "overlooked."

Thanks!

Ride safe.

If the re-map was not "overlooked" you should be able to hit 6,200. I think it even says in the HD catalog that the download chnages the rev limit.

Took the bike in to dealer this morning and they checked and was showing still stock map.

They downloaded stage 1 map and bike runs much stronger now.

Service manager was very apologetic about the mistake but I just said "**** happens", no big deal...all good now.

Was no waiting, they just took the bike as soon as I got there and fixed it.

I think it was extremely busy the Saturday when I bought the Sport and moving it around doing stuff to it the map just got missed.

In my mind just a simple and honest error.

Like I said...its all good now.

Ride safe.
