Really awesome!

Looks like you're about a day ahead of me now... A couple of questions:

-I see you cleaned the new lifters before installation, which I'm planning on doing as well. I assume you scrubbed them with some sort of parts washer/solvent, then blew them out with air? Did you then soak them in oil again, or install them dry?

-How about the new cam bearings... Did you scrub and dry them as well?

Really lookin' good... I hope to catch up on Sunday, after the Indy 500...

i, shamefully, did nothing but apply assembly lube to the bearings.

lifters were purged with a paper clip, cleaned, and then pumped with the oil can.

...you can tell a man loves his ride when he puts the dirty parts on velvet drapes.

I was just reading the same thing last night... I have to check the thread pitch on my pushrods... They were already adjustable, so I didn't replace them. But I can't determine what brand they are, so I'm not sure whether the S&S instructions regarding 24 flats is correct or not...

F86, You might know this, but forget about the instructions or brand (other than for curiosity). Get your TPI and calc for .140" preload
