Nope...wheels are wheels. There can differences between wheels, but not in the physical principals

There is an "Interference fit" between bearing OD and Bore ID. If somehow the the bearing bore was screwed up and had virtually no or completely no interference fit then the using the shim to reduce the gap between the 2nd bearing (Left Rear) and the "bottom" of the bore, would be just a band-aid covering up another problem.

I know you had problem, but I'm not so sure it wasn't operator error

lol, i cause problems for a living. this one was 100% self-inflicted. but, we did the one shim. the wheel had other plans.

yeah, it was a good opportunity to get that clusterf*** of parts out of there. cant wait to take it out and see if it rides better.

ordered new lyndalls 7257-Z+ pads since the rotor obliterated the inner pad.

Default fixed sqeaking broken bushing

root:
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...l#post16095456

bike just seems smaller without the sissy bar

the problem bushing

loosened the tension nut and spun the bullet enough to get it off the bolt.

disconnected the turnsignal wire underseat and fished it out

removed leads from terminal (blocks bushing removal)

swapped out the baddie

reverse cowgirl

replaced wires, snaked back up to the wire nest under the seat. done
