Why not install a tube and call it good?

BTW, did you install a tank lift? Seems like you have more room above your front cylinder than me.

there is a 2" DK lift. one on the first things i did because it was easy, lol

the valve is offset. i actually have a 21x3.5 tube sitting in the garage. one shop said do it, it will be fine; another said that i'd die a horrible death from the twisted tube.

what's the group consensus?

I think you cheated the Reaper once already. Why not get what you paid for. I'd have them swap it out.

that's why the tube is still in the stash. i was going to install it last go round if the wheel started misbehaving. it never did.

i started the return already. i'll just need to order another one and have the tire moved from one to the other.

I would try to source an offset tube. Failing that, I'd goop up those nipples with RTV (on the inside of the rim).

I don't have the patience for returns.

theres a silicone seal around the the nipples. trying to fix it would invite a clusterf*** of madness. i'll send it on back. i just ordered another. the cost vs return will cancel each other out, free shipping/free return.

i'm out my time and my bearings.... i will reuse the rotor bolts as they never saw real combat. cast wheels are a must in the near future.

there were bound to be some surprises. this last leg was too easy.

it's nearly impossible to fine an offset 21x3.25/3.50 tube.

there's no rush. i have another bike and i wasn't planning on using this one for anything major until mid october

I understand, but that sucks. More waiting and dicking around.
