Default harley checks, fluids changed out, and exploding breather filter

i rode around to warm my oils up to change, came home and found that my breather filter had exploded (should have paid more) and a refund check for my dead dynas warranty (act fast when you wreck... get your money back! .

the filter was held together by GLUE!!!!!!!!! why would anyone do that?

went to napa and got a tee and a connector.... routed the gas/oils out the back into an optional filter. may order another two side filter... dunno.

moved on, changed tranny and engine oil. looks like the first time either have been changed.

Holy crap, what sort of fresh hell is that? Damn man. Where did you get that filter? Zat one of those eBay dealies? Mine is hanging tough... that sucks your filter grenaded...

Edit: I should add, I got my under A/C filter from DK Custom; if it's glued together I'm going to be one unhappy camper...

I have one of those from DK, and the quality seems good, but I do believe it is held together with some sort of industrial adhesive.... "Glue".

No idea on the breather... if i get another, i will look for a connecting rod or screws.
It was a drag specialties breather filter before it suffered its mental breakdown

Default Added trim bits... alarm fobs paired ... rear brake pedal sticking... other stuff

Went to the dealer and got fobs paired. picked up trim bits while there.

Air cleaner trim and tranny speed check dipstick.... screw that hex nonsense.

Ordered the slider caps/coveres i used last time and a rear master cylinder rebuild kit. The pedal is sticking.... breaks staying applied, no bueno. Stalled rear brake upgrade i was planning tomorrow.

Wait...
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-glide-models/555768-rear-brakes-sticking.html ... will try...

Also spoke with the crappy wheel shop, they will have more next week. Wheel and tires will get ordered then.

Default lines and plugs/wires

broke out the s/s lines for the front and rear(fingers crossed on dirty calipers and pin needing a sanding) work.

using old front s/s line from the dead dyna prior to the conversion and a new rear s/s line

hung them up... may help with the bleeds, may not... seems to have worked before... no logic to back this up.
plugs/wires...
yanked old plugs and wires...

.... i don't like but they were factory tuned until abot 25 miles ago.

new plugs and SE wires that where on the old dead dyna for about two weeks...

mostly done with 5000 mile service
