oil cooler installed/clamps/grip caps
Parts used:
Oil cooler install... again
added clutch cable clamps... so i could clamp
added crappy caps...
one of the caps was missing when i picked up the bike... added some crap ones for the time being looking for the fat touring grips like those on my sporty... have no part number to hunt them down...
grip caps
- Jagg 751-FP2500 low-mount fan assisted oil cooler
- Drag Specialties Clutch Cable Clamp-1 1/2 in. - 0502-0004
- ebayed caps..
- The Best of Bobby "Blue" Bland - dunno why... just happened

i'm going to do this job today since i need to adjust the clutch anyway as part of the 5k service. did you replace/have the hardware replaced when you swapped the primary?

took it out for a 1/2 out ride to do some auto-tune runs, check for leaks, and fan operation....
i purposely did the install the way i was told not to by robbyville. the thermostat kicked open and closed the circuit to the fan... and the break lights stayed on ....strobing the poor folks behind me. bad if i was planning to leave it that way.. but, i can confirm that the fan is good now. i will be routing the wiring to the accessory connector tomorrow while i install the alarm and siren.
leak wise we are good to go. oil level dropped down a bit, as it should, to fill the new lines and the cooler
