Low hanging: battery + tender pigtail & usb outlet
Parts used:
new battery and goods
crow's nest of SAE wires
routed and zip-tied the harness
routed and zip-tied the mess of connections be hind the battery box
installed the new battery with the tender leads and applied petroleum jelly to the terminals... never did that before but, saw it in the instructions in the owners manual..
zip-tied the usb and pigtail in place
tested...
charging! good to go!
- H-D AGM Original Equipment Battery-65989-97C Part Number 65989-97C
- SAE 2-Pin Y-Harness Part Number 69201150
- SAE 2-Pin to USB Adapter Part Number 69201149
- LED Indicator Battery Charging Harness-66000005 Part Number 66000005
- Killswitch Engage: Disarm the Descent

these discontinued by CD in favor of the tacky dynamic rings that don't put out near as much light and look awful/cliche (imo). The Moon Shinez can still be found in sales channels.

I had ordered a full set of CD leds but, returned them after talking to the seller and determining that he CD installed all around... but...
he had amber up front, not Moon Shinez white like i had before... i can't abide that..

accepted. the moon shines are always white. they are so bright that i angle them outward to spread the light out more.

Stupidity fix
I found and fixed the wire i trashed while adjusting my grips and bars
parts used:
only took 3 hours...
parts used:
tore apart both sets of controls-
found the slashed wire in the left control housing
fixed via a patch wire, mechanical twists, and heat shrink
found that i had also blown the P&A fuse
replaced it
back in business...
