Man can't wait for this one to get started. These threads make me want to go tinker with mine...but there's nothing to do.

Default swapped front wheels out...

may seem pointless if you are just looking at the pictures but, the tire on the wheel that i put on is basically new and has a about 500-600 miles on it vs the one that was on the bike that had ~4900 miles on it.

bike got on the fear stand




off with wheel


moved the rotor over to the old wheel...
applied liberal anti-seize... there was none on the axle.. just some nasty looking oil stuff.


done... wheel ready for the buyer who has been waiting for weeks for it.

Default passenger pegs removed

blowing through the easy stuff....

pulled of the never to be used passenger pegs









off they go.. they have a plane to catch.


mount for upper belt guard installed
(working.... will resume... need parts from ace..5/16-18 1" & 5/16-18 1 1/2")

Default oops and more low hanging fruit.

while adjusting the grips i must have pinched a wire bike is pissed and hand controls, front turns, speedo doesn't work, and bike will not start. fun times..

moving on...

finished passenger peg delete:





added chrome lower belt guard cover:



installed the accessory power adapter (oil cooler fan support):





added tank bra... for increased speed:

adjusted bars, flipped mirrors and added cheap chrome caps... (really important):




disappointed by the work ahead to figure out how, exactly, i screwed up the front end gizmos... i moisturized the old seat with leather cpr and added the fender bib:

not sure why i didn't just buy one... never occurred to me until i started messing with the bike.
