it's a fine seat... way less padding in "junk" area than the stock WG saddle. kinda sit IN the LRS seat vs siting ON the WG seat. I dont usually mess with seats so this is all learning for me.

The rear fender really gets in the way if you want a slim seat that also pushes you back. I've got my pan hanging way off the back of the frame and it would interfere with the fender if I had one.

It's actually comfortable, too.

i can't part with the fender on the long range bike. my bags would get all in the the belt and wheels.

Totally understand amd apprpve! I was just voicing my opinion on why I think we don't see more good solutions for seats that accommodate the long legged.

Yeah they are pretty comfy. Way better than the Leather Badlander I replaced it with, first.

Looks good!

sold to some MC in Miami. terrible that it didn't work out. the new gauges are nice and hella useful. would be nice if the moco made some for the disenfranchised dynas... rough road ahead now that we are in v-rod status.

Dakota and others make some nice units. Motogadget has some really attractive analog gauges but I'm not sure about compatibility.

very true but, the dakota stuff is an aquired taste and doesn't quite match the styling of the new/stock stuff. i'm still going to do the speedo and tach on the bars but, i keep getting caught up in other projects. i was just going to go with the now low rider gauges over the pre-2018 stuff. chopper haus has also dropped the ball on the risers anyway. i don't know what the malfunction was but, hey.... fun times

I wonder if Smiths or any of the classic gauge manufacturers build modern Harley compatible dials.... Hmm... I'd be down with modern-twist bobber that had dual Smiths gauges.

Or maybe some custom faces from a place like revlimiter (popular with the Miata crowd)
