Default Ohlins 2-2 install

Installed my Ohlins A2-A2 on my '06 Dyna and boy what a difference. I installed according to Howard's instruction sheet and a little intuition, as by now fault of his own the instructions can be a bit confusing. Most important thing I took from them is that the shocks are lined up perpendicular with not space between the eye of the shock and the mount on the bike so there is no binding. My bide has saddlebags, so had to account for the mounting hardware. They seem to work fine and the ride is vastly improved over the stock junk. Is there any way to tell if I did it absolutely correct ?

that looks close. mine are spaced a bit more.. Also looks like right and left are swapped - don't think there's a difference.
Maybe I didn't install mine correctly.. been on for 3-4k miles..

I don't think there is a right and left, they're identical and there was nothing in the instructions about it. I think the spacing may be a bit different depending on what mounting hardware you have for the saddlebags. They seem to work fine, so I'm just gonna go with it and see what happens. Thanks for the input.

You're right. I just liked "Ohlin" on outside and be visible. I also got 30/70 sprockets and wider belt - that might be why it didn't fit w/o spacers for me. Otherwise love these shocks. after I put miles on em got just better
