The pipes are Vance & Hines , a set of Viking hard panniers and a clip on screen came with it and the back rest just looks corny unless I'm actually carrying a passenger . Oh yeah , I believe the rims are already an upgrade ..

Replace strut covers with black
replace shocks with decent 13”ers
Get a solid black battery cover
rebuild forks with some decent springs
while forks are dismantled have lower legs and triple trees powdered black
get rid of the ‘purse’ hanging from your front end
black round small air cleaner
replace signals with black and relocate front signals to frame down tubes
black mirrors and black levers
replace tank badges with 1959 badges(google it)
Get rid of the cow bell and install a horn between the down tubes
The fxd custom really held on to a bunch of 90’s style chrome. The chrome covers on the engine really pop and look good. I feel that a glance at the bike draws your attention all over the place. The chrome on the front end and the rear of the bike and the mirrors and all the gingerbread take away from the jewel which is the engine. Also the big old cowbell hanging on the side of that beautiful Vtwin looks like crap. Same with the chrome air cleaner. Minimize to maximize. More black to make that engine pop.

I'm workin' on it. And I like the idea of 1959 tank badges. I'm a 1959 myself.
