Yeah, the burgundy was never a color i liked and it was getting pretty worn, i mean it is literally 20 year old paint with lots of wear and bug/rock hits. Also Orange for leukemia awareness, my dad died of leukemia a couple years ago, after only about 1 year from the diagnosis, and since it was his bike before he sold it to me i figure its a good idea. Also i really like orange anyway.

yuppers, it was only $350 for all 3 parts and a paint job, cheapest i could find was $800 and they didn't have very good reviews so it would've been more like $1200 at a better shop.
2015, fork slider was pn# 48739-08 and I had it powdered black…gauge set up was plug and play with guerilla cables harness. (This was a very expensive experience) I built an fxdl on an fxdb frame.

When I got it - totaled. Fender strut bent, bungs for brake caliper broken clean off fork legs, broken peg mounts, etc...only pic I have of it stock
First iteration, gawd those bars were hideous...won't lie though I kinda liked the low slung look with the lowering shocks...
Change of bars, no fairing...

dude that is awesome. How long did it take you to get it where it is? I’ve been working on my 2009 fxdb for a couple years and haven’t made that much progress. Granted my ex destroyed it with bricks so it was a lot of work to get back to stock. Not to mention I got rear ended… anyway nice work bro
I posted here a few years back, but I've made some changes since then. It's now a 117", and I did add the FXDL trees and 4" over tubes I had thought about doing back then. Also some fresh paint, and a number of other small details.
I'm not going to go so far as to say its done, but I don't really have any more plans.
Changed it up a bit since my last post in this thread...
