RE: C&C seat + Motherweel rack?
Happy to have different advises. When I am talking of along haul, it's about 500 miles a day.
For information and to make it easy for you to compareI'v done that with a Softail as well a FHLT Standart with Corbin's Hollywood solo.Isthat may help?
Gunny.

RE: C&C seat + Motherweel rack?
I just did a weekend trip here in nice and sunny California:
Day 1
SF to Lake Tahoe 180 miles
Day 2
Around Lake Tahoe through Truckee, Donner Pass and to Reno and back 245 miles
Day 3
Lake Tahoe to Mono Lake through Yosemite and back to SF 352 miles
Total: 777 miles
The C&C LoPro was fine for the whole trip. It didn't seem any different to me than on short rides. It does position you lower and a bit further back than the stock seat. This is the only seat I use as I'm too lazy to deal with swapping seats out. It looks cool and feels great.

Gunny,
Glad to help out. When I was making the decision to get my C&C, alot of people on this forum said it was more of a barhopper seat. Because of that I was a little nervous about getting it. I got it anyways and think it's perfect. Of course my last bike was a Sportster so maybe I'm used to rougher rides.
Good luck with your decision!

Slayer, i'm interested as well. I've got a bad back though and the stocker isn't doing a whole lot of good. I can handle 200-300+ mile rides, but i would like something that won't make me wish i never got a bike. Also, do you know if you can add a pass p with the lo pro? I've got a 10 year old that liked to ride, so adding the pp when he want's to come along would be nice. but taking it off otherwise would be my preference.

Just like the stock seat the LoPro Solo doesn't have a back rest - so you just have to sit up straight. If it's back support you want, you might want to consider getting either a 2up seat or a solo seat with a backrest like Corbin or Mustang has. According to the C&C site they do have a pillion seat available, but IMHO it looks funny. They also say that it's a cosmetic pillion and should not be used for passengers only luggage.
I've no personal experience with it, but I've heard of a belt that helps provide back support for motorcycle riding. It's similar to the belts that are used for lifting. Maybe that'll help?
