I hate I95, and been to asscrack too many times. Sorry about your bike, but very glad you had the reflexes to get clear!

Wow things went **** up pretty quick by the sound of it.

Glad you're ok and looking forward to seeing what you do with the next bike.

From the looks of the bike, most people would have guessed you would be here to tell about it!

Makes me glad I made the choice 2 weeks after I started riding to put a full face on. And as far as the throttle by wire on the LR-S I wouldnt worry about it. Automotive electronics have come leaps and bounds in the last 10, and even more so in the past 5 years. LOTS of vehicles out there even including most new half ton trucks have all electronic steering, if there was a safety problem they wouldn't be putting them out and you'd hear about it.
I'm not that mad about the bike. I didnt ride it that much. I still lean on my sporty more. I just happy to be up and kicking

You're right, my z4 has electronic steering. But when it gets really hot outside..... bad business. google "stick steering z4" you DO NOT want that happening on a bike. Bmw fixed later but didnt do a recall. I'm sure its fine on th lrs but, i dont want it on my bike. I'll give up cruise control for that peace of mind.

Glad you are okay man, sorry about the bike. I avoid I95 at all costs but that could happen anywhere. Got me thinking about leather now.

Default Wow!

Glad you are ok. Your bike was nice before it was put to death. Its only material. You will get a new or nicer bike I hope. Try not to ride 95 it is the most dangerous road I have driven on.(many times) always in a car or truck. There are back roads to take us places without doing 95. You are very lucky to be alive and I am glad you were not hurt bad.
