Holy crap. Did you go to the ER? When the adrenaline wears off, you might find more injuries.

Ever consider being a stuntman?

I wore a full face for about 10 years. Then switched to a 3/4. Maybe I should go back to a FF. And start wearing my chaps more. I let all the ridicule on HDF for chaps affect me.

I used to think chaps were special too. I got s*** all weekend long for walking around in july in leather... kept saying, "taking a shower is easier than growing skin"....

Im throwing out all my 3/4s when i get home. .. no joke... done.

I think you are right about injuries, pain is starting. Once i get out of this dump... i'll stop in the er

Oh ****, Glad you made it through that. This has been a wild week for bikers, I am so happy you are up and walking and not otherwise messed up.

Speedy recovery, I second the idea of going to the doc.

Hurt pride, nah, no biggie, **** happens. Especially at night, on unfamiliar roads in what looks like rain. You did a fine, you sprinted away

What insurance do you have? I'm with Progressive and they tell me I have 5k of additional coverage but I haven't seen it in writing so I'm skeptical. Make sure to put all your gear on the claim (leathers and helmet).

That's a crazy story glad you're okay.

Ummm yea..And i'm sure it wasn't St.Lucifer. You owe the MAN big time. Not a bad deal. My father in law (LA County sheriff / retired Orange County sheriff ) told me once "you may know the road, but you never know what's going to be on it" And didn't gear just come up in the "Thug/Outlaw or whatever thread? Way to "tuck and roll!" Glad your ok!

Wow. Glad you survived this without major injury. The adrenaline rush probably would have killed me.
