Holy crap. Did you go to the ER? When the adrenaline wears off, you might find more injuries.
Ever consider being a stuntman?
I wore a full face for about 10 years. Then switched to a 3/4. Maybe I should go back to a FF. And start wearing my chaps more. I let all the ridicule on HDF for chaps affect me.

Oh ****, Glad you made it through that. This has been a wild week for bikers, I am so happy you are up and walking and not otherwise messed up.
Speedy recovery, I second the idea of going to the doc.
Hurt pride, nah, no biggie, **** happens. Especially at night, on unfamiliar roads in what looks like rain. You did a fine, you sprinted away

Ummm yea..And i'm sure it wasn't St.Lucifer. You owe the MAN big time. Not a bad deal. My father in law (LA County sheriff / retired Orange County sheriff ) told me once "you may know the road, but you never know what's going to be on it" And didn't gear just come up in the "Thug/Outlaw or whatever thread? Way to "tuck and roll!" Glad your ok!
