i'm looking for a bike now. craigslist and such... dealers have nothing i want.
Donate your cast off helmets to your local fire dept/EMT's. They use them in training for motorcyclist crashes.

it's gone. it was with the bike on the flat bed. progressive said it was at the yard, yard said it was there too. now it is MIA

I must say, I would not have predicted this. Good stuff, though. The second time is always cheaper and faster.

i wouldn't have either.

once it was done (i know), it was "right". down to the sound seII's disappearing at highway speeds. i was really happy with it after all that hate... i was even going to add riser extenders once i got back.

i miss it

Glad you're ok.. and from the looks of your leathers in the pictures you must've taken at the hotel/motel you checked into afterwards (hopefully with a nice bottle of bourbon) that you're glad you wore them too..

I don't know if I would try to rebuild it.. I would take my claim money and my 3K accessories payout and seek out a new (to you) wide glide and start over.. the insurance companies are such d1cks when it comes to getting back your stuff.. they want 2 prices for a pay-off and then its still a 'basher' when and if you rebuild it.. unless you go with a custom or an un-molested replacement frame and retitle it.
