Front Suspension Ricor/Traxxion Vs Works
Hey guys, I've begun looking at front suspension upgrades for my 15' Street Bob and while I've done a ton of searching many of the posts are old and it seems like there has been some new products to hit the market. I know the new Ohlin Cartridges are the way to go but they're out of my price range so I've narrowed down the options to a Ricor intiminator/Traxxion Springs/RSD Preloader setup or the Works Performance Cartridge Fork Kit. Could anyone give me some opinions on which way to go?

I upgraded early before the cartridges with the Works triple rated springs along with adding the Ricor intiminators that still works great.
Fully maintainable. Cheap upgrade. They don't have the triple rated spring kits anymore just double springs. I ride like a maniac and not afraid to do a little hill climb.
bike handles anything I want to do, tested tough.
If your on a tight budget just do the springs and Ricor intiminators
Just as good and will last a long time..

After going with Ohlins on the rear, I quickly realized ( I knew was going to happen ) that the front needed to get taken care of ASAP. I searched and searched, but didn't find a lot on the Works carts. After some time, I decided to finally give them a try. I have maybe 5 - 7 hundred miles on them, and for the price, and effort, I couldn't be happier.
I live in a town called Petaluma.... AKA, Pothole-luma. It's bad up here... Realllll bad. So bad, one of the local ice cream makers re-named their rocky road ice cream after the Pothole-luma name. Actually the entire county has ****-eh roads. Washboard concrete slabs... Holes, bumps... You name it. Since I switched the harsh, sharp jolts don't rattle my brain anymore. High speed sweeping turns, the bike just settles in on a line and stick like glue.
Overall, I am very happy with the Works dual rate drop in carts. Sure, they're not, and will never be up to par with the Ohlins carts, but at half the price, I am happy.

My indie ordered them for me... I paid the listed price on the Works site. I believe you can order direct from Works.
