Replacing Primary Cover (need to cover mid shaft hole)
On my 2008 Fat Bob I have a chrome primary cover with forward controls and there is no "hole" in the primary cover.
I have a nice wrinkle black primary cover setup for kids that I want to use instead. I've seen the MoCo sell chrome caps to cover the mid shaft, but I won't have one going through it.
So what should I use the cover that hole so it won't leak oil?

There is a chrome cap that came in my forward control kit. I'm sure HD can sell you one. Having said that, I just recently converted back to mids and I'm pretty happy with them. I had forwards on my previous bike, and when I bought my dyna new in 2006, I ditched the mids as soon as I could, I didn't even give them a chance. now I also have a StreetGlide, so the dyna can return to more of a 'fun' bike.
