Default Anyone using Custom Dynamics TruBeam?

I know there are several LED headlight options, specifically interested in the Custom Dynamics TruBeam. Anyone? Thanks.

If it wasn't for the tricky optics, I'd be building my own.

Since I can't do that, it's JW Speaker all the way for me. I'm holding my breath while waiting for a gen2 adaptive.

CD has a halo too, which I like. I just put the CD Ringz turn signal inserts on my bike which have the white halo running lights. The stock headlight looks like a dim orange candle now.

I need to buy something, I can't see a thing at night with stock headlight. I usually have no issue spending money but man these lights are pricey!!

i feel your pain... or felt.... as it were
sad H4 vs CD Moonshinez

theres the *cough* "DK" H4 plug in LED bulb
still not as good as a sealed but it is 10-20% of the cost depending on your source. it's just and led h4 sourced from china, get my drift?

lots of reading... H4 bulb appears on page 4 - - - it's still in my sportster to this day... about 2 years later. and will be until i pony up aanother 500 for another 8690 A. might wait til second gen then put the first gen in the sporty

Default CD TruBeam

I have the TruBeam on three bikes. I have used CD products for years and have little experience with their competitors. I have nothing but good to say about CD as I have never had any issue with any of their products. Before I put a TruBeam on my Freewheeler, I installed a Harley "DayMaker". I had a TruBeam on another bike and compared to the similarly priced "DayMaker" it was much brighter. So I replaced the "DayMaker" with the TruBeam. The "DayMaker" has been retired to storage.

Wow, that's a great price for that headlight. Hopefully their 7" version will come down soon as well. I'd love to put one in my (soon to buy) FXRT fairing.
